Downeast Kitchens designers are proud members of the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA), the leading source of information and education for all design professionals.
Here's how we work to make it all happen as quickly and smoothly as possible.
5. Sales Agreement and Deposit
Now that the design is finally where you want it, it's time to make it happen!
To confirm all the particulars, your Downeast Kitchens designer draws up a Sales Agreement outlining the agreed-upon elements of your project. We provide a drawing showing the final cabinet layout, while the agreement itself contains important details such as cabinet brand, door style, color choices, hardware and countertop as well as a final price and delivery date.
You want to look over this form very carefully before signing it, because this is what your designer uses to place orders for materials. It may be helpful to have your installer look over the details as well.
Once you've signed the agreement, we require a deposit, with the remaining balance due upon delivery. If your contractor is working with Downeast Kitchens and is charging the project to an account, we need his/her signature on the agreement authorizing the job.
We understand that your kitchen is the center of your home. So whether you're building or remodeling, we work very hard to make the entire process as easy as possible, including decisions about budget, materials, cabinet layout and even the finishing touches. And, we stay involved with you and your contractor through the entire installation process, ensuring your complete satisfaction. Before you know it, you'll be enjoying life in your ideal kitchen!
"When it came time to build our house...I went to Blake Hollis from Downeast Kitchens for the expertise needed for our "dream kitchen." We had a plan in mind; Blake put it all on paper, made some very helpful suggestions, and the end result was the "Focal Point" of the whole house....functional, inviting, and WOW! Thank You, for making our dream come true. It was a pleasure."
